Rice-eating contest to be held alongside Taitung Hakka Festival

To promote Taitung’s high-quality rice and encourage people to learn more about the town’s farming culture and industry, taking “eating good rice” as a theme, a rice-eating contest will soon be held. The participants will get to eat locally produced rice and this is expected to make the festival even more vivacious.
